Other education-related interests include social media-based fundraising experiments, such as LitLiberation, which outraised television host Stephen Colbert 3-to-1 with no fixed costs. Most recently, he used Twitter as a distributed tool for gathering data on post-campaign donations (see Tweet to Beat). He is on the advisory board of DonorsChoose.org.
