Last Sunday, I asked the collective genius--60,000+ Twitter followers--the following question:  

"What is the coolest or oddest experience I can have in SF today?  Any must-do's off the beaten path?"

The answers came in fast and furious, and I was set within minutes.  I ended up with a wonderful sequence:

Traipsing on the living roof of the California Academy of Sciences
Sipping sencha tea at the Golden Gate Japanese tea garden
Relaxing alongside a small buffalo herd on JFK Drive
Dinner at perhaps my favorite restaurant in SF with local and seasonal food: Firefly.
