"What is the coolest or oddest experience I can have in SF today? Any must-do's off the beaten path?"
The answers came in fast and furious, and I was set within minutes. I ended up with a wonderful sequence:
Traipsing on the living roof of the California Academy of Sciences
Sipping sencha tea at the Golden Gate Japanese tea garden
Relaxing alongside a small buffalo herd on JFK Drive
Dinner at perhaps my favorite restaurant in SF with local and seasonal food: Firefly.
